Nathan was not sure of what this was. But he did enjoy putting his hands in it.
then he thought tipping it over would be more fun.
all this is is flour, sugar, water, salt, but apparently those combinations do not taste the best together for Nathan. I only used one color of food dye. just trying it out. seeing how he would do and if he would even try to paint with it.
I taped down the paper, because I am brilliant (actually because the other blogger recommended it, details, details)
For Nathan's birthday I had cupcakes with those little edible sprinkle pearl things (no clue what they are called and frankly I am to lazy to go check) I added them for fine motor skills. He really liked picking them up and throwing them into the bowl.
Also liked using the spoon to play with. (note the Christmas socks are awesome, dont lie you know you want a pair)
Now I have some art work on my fridge! Luckily he did spend some time on the paper to at least have something to put up, even if some of it was forced or just reaching for something :)
ingredients:
- 2 cups of flour
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 2 cups cold water
- 2 cups hot water
- Food Coloring
- Small bowls
- Paper…lots of paper!
